Karnataka Election Results 2023- INC sweeps the victory and wins in a huge margin over BJP

 On May 10th, the Legislative Assembly election was held in Karnataka to elect 224 MLAs. The election was conducted peacefully and Indian National Congress (INC) and Bharatiya janata Party (BJP) were two major parties who were facing each other in election. Both seemed to be very strong before the election.

However, on 13th May, the vote counting happened and result was declared.

INC has grabbed 136 seats out of 224, which is a big win and BJP has to settle with 65 seats only whereas JD(S) has finished with 19 seats and 4 seats were taken by others.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi congratulated INC for their victory in Karnataka and wished them Best wishes..

Similarly, Mr. Amit Shah also congratulated to the people of Karnataka and thanked them for giving opportunities to BJP for many years for doing good work.

Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge also congratulated his INC team on the victory and distributed 'Nandini' sweets to party leaders.

He also said that BJP used to pass comment us by saying "we will make 'Congress Mukt Bharat'. but now the truth is that it is 'BJP Mukt South India'".

Karnataka CM & BJP leader Basavaraj Bommai will give his resignation to the Governor at Raj Bhawan.
