2000 Rupees Note Ban from Sep 30th. Demonetisation News. "That's why PM should be educated" Kejriwal tweeted 

The 2000 Rupees are going to be banned soon. Back in 2016 Nov 8th, around at 8 PM Narendra Modi announced demonetisation in India where old 500 rupees and 1000 rupees currencies tender notes were became invalid currencies. People were requested to exchange them in bank, but public faced a lot of issues that time. 

In view of the demand of the situation, Govt and RBI have introduced 2000 Rupees notes that time in Nov 2016. When it was noticed that other denomination notes like 500, 200, 100, and 50 rupees notes are available in market sufficiently and people of India are not using 2000 Rupees notes in day to day life transactions mostly, then RBI had stopped printing 2000 rupees notes back in 2018-2019.

Though 2000 rupees notes will remain to be legal currency tender, it is decided to withdraw 2000 Rupees bank notes from general circulation by the RBI's "Clean Note Policy". 

You can deposit the money including 2000 Rupees notes in your bank account without any restrictions but if you like to exchange 2000 Rupees notes to get other denomination notes, the the maximum capping is set as 20000 rupees at a time, meaning 10 notes of 2000 Rupees. 

Please keep in mind that you can do this exercise till September 30th 2023, meaning enough time is there. Hence, don't panic and don't rush.. 

Even all the banks are also directed by the RBI not to issue any 2000 Rupees to general public with immediate effect. 

Many people are saying that this withdrawal of 2000 rupees is a great step taken by government of India. Elections are coming very soon and it will impact to the people who have hoarded Huge money in cash after last demonetisation. 

But the opposition parties are seeing this as an agenda for raising their concerns against the step taken by Govt and RBI. 

Kejriwal tweeted in Hindi on this and the English translation of that is:

"First they said that by bringing 2000 notes, corruption will stop. Now they are saying that by banning 2000 notes, corruption will end. That's why we say, PM should be educated. Anyone can say anything to an illiterate PM. He doesn't understand. The public has to suffer" .

Seems BA and MA degrees are no more considered as education degrees. This is a serious concern and the public should question back why these degree holders in India are not considered Educated anymore..
