UPSC Result 2022: UPSC Civil Service Examination 2022 Result is out in May 2023: 4 Women in top 5 ranks, Fantastic Achievements

Hello Friends. The UPSC result 2022 is finally out. As you already know that the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is the toughest exam in India where all the candidates get chance to work as class-1 officers and bring glory to their area and family members. It is a pride moment for someone who clears this exam and people celebrate their success.

This civil service exam, 2022 is conducted by UPSC and the written exam was held in September 2022. Later the merit candidates were interviewed for personality test and viva between January and May 2023. Usually the UPSC civil services exam is conducted in 3 stages like Prelim, Main and final PT interview test.

The UPSC result 2023 date was 23rd May 2023, which is also UPSC result 2022 date.

After that, the final 933 candidates have been recommended for appointment in these categories:

(i) Indian Administrative Service (IAS)

(ii) Indian Foreign Service (IFS)

(iii) Indian Police Service (IPS)

(iv) Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’. 

All India RANK-1 

Out of these 933 candidates, "Ishita Kishore" from Bihar and from Delhi University topped the exam and in UPSC result and secured the 1st position. Ishita Kishore could not even clear the prelim exam in her first 2 attempts and on her 3rd attempt she got the top position, which is so inspiring and astonishing. 

All India RANK-2

"Garima Lohia" again from Bihar and also from Delhi University secured the 2nd position. She decided to prepare the UPSC exam during 2020 lockdown and she even didn't clear the prelim exam in her 1st attempt. Later in her 2nd attempt, she secured the 2nd position all over India, which is a miracle and inspiring again.

All India RANK-3

"Uma Harathi N" from Telangana and also an alumni from IIT Hyderabad secured the 3rd position. She cracked UPSC on 5th attempt and that too in 3rd position after her 4 failure attempts. This shows the commitment and patience towards your faith. 

All India RANK-4

"Smriti Mishra" from Uttar Pradesh and also from Delhi University secured the 4th position in UPSC exam. She got this rank on 4th contact after 3 failed attempts which shows never to give up attitude.

All India RANK-5

"Mayur Hazarika" from Assam has secured the 5th position in UPSC exam and is a doctor by profession. He is the topper amongst all the men/boys who cracked the UPSC civil service exam.

It is so good to see the women/girls of our country are doing a tremendous job and bagging the top 4 positions in UPSC exam out of 5 and even grabbed total 6 ranks out of top 10 ranks, which is so amazing.

They are also making themselves available in top 3 or 5 in any kind of exam happening in India. This really shows that the women have really empowered in India and India is so proud of them.

Below is the table , where you can see the appointment to various vacancies of categories to be done by UPSC, where 180 candidates will be IAS, 38 will be IFS and 200 candidates will be in IPS. Rest all will be in group A/B services.
