As you know already, the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2023 was held on 28/05/2023 all over India, and total 14624 candidates have qualified for the admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023.


The result is declared today (12th June 2023) for UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2023.


All these written qualified candidates will have to  apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023 as per the UPSC rule.

All the dates and other important instructions for filling up the DAF-I and submission process will be announced soon in the UPSC official website.


What is UPSC Civil Services Exam Process?


As you know UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) holds the Civil Services Exam in 3 stages, such as Preliminary, Main and Interview. The candidates who will qualify the final interview round will become the class-1 officers like Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS) etc, which is a proud feeling for family, village, district, state and for nation. 


Once all the processes of declaration of final result is done, UPSC is going to upload the  marks, cut off marks and answer keys of Civil Services (Prelim) Examination, 2023


What are UPSC Statements on this Announcement?


As UPSC said in the uploaded PDF in official website: "The candidature of these candidates is provisional. In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, all these candidates have to apply

again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023. The dates and important instructions for filling up of the DAF-I and its submission will be announced in due course on the website of the Commission."


Further UPSC added as well: "Candidates are also informed that marks, cut off marks and answer keys of CS (P) Examination, 2023 will be uploaded on the Commission’s website i.e. https://upsc.gov.in only after the entire process of the Civil Services Examination, 2023 is over i.e. after the declaration of final result. "

Let us tell you also that UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) has also added below statements in their uploaded PDF in website:

"The Union Public Service Commission has a Facilitation Counter near the Examination Hall Building in its premises at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi. Candidates may obtain any

information/clarification regarding their result of the above mentioned Examination on all working days between 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM, in person or on Tel. No. 011-23385271, 011-23098543 or 011-23381125 from the Facilitation Counter. "
